Group 1 Case 1
Priscilla Davis, Susan Farris, Wes Head, and Jack Elliott III
Well we are closing down in the final weeks of school, and we are getting close to finishing our project before the final day. Mrs. Susan has been great as the group leader staying on everyone making sure that we finish this assignment on time. We have not strayed from the orignal plan and feel that we have a good plan for cutting the budget back. We have everything in place to finish this project on time, and we feel lucky because for the most part we have worked well together in this online group atmospher, whcih has been a new exprience for me. This has been a fun class which has taught us new things, and we look forward to hearing any input and submitting our final project.

Another little Update!
Group 1 Case1
Susan Farris, Wes Head, Priscilla Davis, and Jack Elliott III
Once again, everyone in our group was in attendance in our meeting via skype. I think that we are all starting to get the hang of the skype system, which turns out is not that difficult to use. We started out discussing our future plans for submitting the next few assignments. We discussed our goup performance reviews that we will have to turn in, in the near future. We also discussed our progress on our individual parts of the assignment. A couple people had a few questions about their area, which the group discussed and found the proper answers for. Everyone in our group is working very hard to finish this assignment in a timely and correct order. We look forward to updating everyone about our progress.

We all feel that we are on a good path to completion of this project and look forward to giving you more updates on our progress.

First Group Meeting!
Hello everyone. Just a little info on our Workplace Communication class Group 1 Case 1. The first meeting I would say was a success. We had a few technical difficulties at first but we forged through and made our first meeting count. Everyone in our group participated in our very first meeting, which consist of Jack Elliott III, Susan Farris, Priscilla Davis, and Wes Head. Earlier in the week Wes sent out an email with a few ideas about where to cut the budget. For the most part we agreed on areas that could be cut. Coaches salaries, Fringe benefits, and Presidential salaries were pretty much agreed on. Tuition came up in the discussion because at first we discussed whether or not to cut tuition by 2%, to try to entice more students to attend Mississippi State. The problem, we discussed, was that at the moment the University probably could not handle any more students since we have seen record enrollment this year, and there have been problems with over crowding and parking issues for students. We discussed a few areas that we might be able to cut but agreed that we would do our own investigation into some areas and when we meet again bring some new ideas to the table. We haven't finalized anything yet but we do feel confident that we are headed in the right direction on this project. We will continue to post our progress as the weeks go on, so everyone reading this can look forward to reading about our progress.
